Yesterday I finally received my "puffy" from my knitting friend LaToya. Unfortunately ? ( or fortunately, yes) LaToya and I didn´t make it when our Monthly dishclothgroup signed up for exchanges in june, so we decided to make our own!!! So, after waiting by my mailbox for eons of time, it finally arrived, from sunny Florida :

Thank you so much LaToya. Fab dishcloth, very beachlike, seacolor and small houses, I imagine sitting on the beach. And the postcards I´ve been envious of on other blogs. yaeeee.

On the 29 of may I turned 33.

My children started by singing the birthsday song untill I got up !

As it was a monday everybody left for work/daycare, which left me with time to visit a knitting friend for a birthsdaybrunch.

And a present

While sitting a the table the mailman came to the door with a spindle I´ve bought from www.downinthecountry.com and the day also had some yarnsurprises in it.

Had me laughing for awhile.

For the first time in 8 years
I´ve been celebrated on mothers day.
My dearest son and daughter used
their pocket money on flowers for me.
Do I feel privileged ?

While working in the garden, (those darn dandelions are sneeking into my japanese forestgarden !!) the kids summerjoys arrived. These fellows are ½ an inch long, and hiding in the damp areas of our tiny garden.
