I´ve always liked pearls knitted into fabrics.One of my fieldtrips to the library brought me this book. Extraordinaire! I´ve started to knit one of the simplest patterns in the book, an elveshat with a bead tassel.

Creativity released.

A very dear friend of mine, my soulsister Maja, has had a dream for a while. A boutique for disabled people with clothes, especially designed for them individually.
With assesories to match. Scarves, wristwarmers, bags, broches,hats, knitted jewellery and other nice stuff.

Now who will be the lucky producer of this ? Me,Me !!

I´m thrilled, now I don´t have to think if it is the right size,color or model for me.
I can knit what I feel for.....Is that freedom, release the creativity!!

I´ve already made a fulled bag, in some blue coffee kauni, (still in the washer), a scarf and currently I´m working on some wristwarmers.

Small projects - instant gratification !!

Small projects gives me a feeling of accomplishment.
Small steps in a world that isn´t always moving my way.
So happy to have my knitting to keep me sane.

The Peach tree in the frontyard promises peaches in july

Having suffered from the same heartbreak as several socks on other blocks, my lacesock is about to have itself a new partner. Look how lonely is looks. Sad.....sad......

On my journey of freeing myself from things I don´t need (the feng shui project), I stumbled across a Marianne Isager sweater knitted almost a decade ago.
A decade???

Here it is: THE UFOFROG.
One wristwarmer done, left alone to rest in the pond of my knittingbasket.
Spring giving me the drive to finish this project.......knit, knit, knit.......

ufofrog, ufofrog, does anybody say there has to be a gusset in a pair of wristwarmers??? sigh, ufofrog.
End of story.

Asymmetric Dominoshawl finished

At last my Dominoshawl came to an end. It started out with squares with a 100 stitches, but I didn´t like the look.
Frogged it. Now with squares of 50 stitches, I kind of grew with it. Made with Kauniyarn.
Unfortunately I´m hooked on knitting domino now.
